Eire, so close, so far

In Skye, we have been welcomes like Kings, a room each, a bath for françois and food, music, guided tour around Skye with Morag, who sing very well gaelic songs nad knows the strories for every raised stones...
we have been walking and driving around Skye for 4 days, visiting a blade smith for me while Françoois was sun bathing on a beach and other very hard times.
we Had our lot of hard time rowing in the Loch Ness, with probably Nessie under us, swimming in the other way...
we helped two tchequoslovaquian hitchikers, bringing them to a castle, but the main wind here is from south west, and guess what? Same for our course...
tide twice big as in norway, strong currents and waves, all that is not helping us to reach irland, making us to forget to go to Iona, witch was an important stop. we try to use the currents, going with them for a few hours and then stoping ashore for a meal, starting again with the next tide...
all that leaves us nearly in one piece, Fraqnçois' got a problem with is left arm's tendon and me one bone of my right hand is hurting ...
We played music in Fort William, meeting an other musician , inviting us in a session, where we met John, piper in an Irish band and who invited us in is place...
